Peanut Butter Pie (Favorite of Grandma Linda)
Ingredients:
·
9” graham cracker pie shell
·
Chocolate syrup
·
1 (3 oz.) package cream cheese, softened
·
1 Cup powdered sugar
·
1/3 Cup peanut butter (smooth or
crunchy)
·
½ Cup milk
·
1 (9 oz.) container Cool Whip
1.
Coat 9” graham cracker pie shell, sides and bottom, with chocolate syrup. Put
in freezer to harden chocolate. Chocolate syrup should be chilled first – it
sticks to the sides better.
2.
Whip cream cheese until light and fluffy. Beat in powdered sugar and peanut
butter. Slowly add milk. Blend. Add Cool Whip and mix gently. Pour into pie
shell.
3. Drizzle chocolate syrup over top of pie. Freeze. Before serving, add whipped cream around the edges and sprinkle chopped peanuts over all.
I
had a slice of Peanut Butter Pie at Oliver’s and loved it. When I got home I found a recipe that sounded
like it could be adapted and so I took that recipe and added to it some things
that Oliver’s had. Everyone who has had this loves it! Grandma Linda
